Job description
This successful independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors is experiencing continued growth in client numbers due to the appointment within the past 12 months of high profile ex-Top 4 Partners. The firm is now looking to build on this and plan for future growth with the appointment of an ambitious, competent Audit Senior who will lead teams on audit assignments including many of the firm’s largest audits. You will form part of the firm’s ongoing succession plan which involves changing the market perception of the firm in-line with its growing profile in the Northwest as a leading provider of audit & advisory services ranging from standard compliance through to innovative corporate finance lead advisory solutions. You will initially lead audit teams and ensure fieldwork is completed to a high standard, reporting to a Senior Audit Manager on all work. You will subsequently be given the opportunity to broaden and strengthen your role and remit within the firm through involvement in tax and advisory assignment work. This is an exciting opportunity for a ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Senior with a background in either a top-tier or proactive independent firm to join a progressive independent firm and take their career to a new level within a realistic timescale. Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have previous audit and accounts experience, more importantly you will have the drive and ambition to progress within a forward-thinking firm.
