A leading firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in London and regional offices across the UK. The firm has a mixed client base and offer a full range of accounting, taxation and advisory services to smaller quoted companies, owner managed businesses and other organisations. The Colchester office requires an Audit/Accounts Director with the potential to progress to partner in due course to support the senior team for the office and assist with the growth of the office. Duties: to oversee the audit and accounts activity for the Colchester office including technical support; to direct the Audit and Accounts team and assist with their performance and development; to support and assist in driving the full implementation of a computerised audit system; to proactively seek out and work on new opportunities through networking or existing clients to support the growth of the office.
