Job description
Stark Brooks is working exclusively with this leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in South Manchester to recruit two Trainees/part-qualified Semi Seniors. This Top 10 firm has an enviable client base that covers numerous industry sectors, including: manufacturing, retail, charities, education, technology and professional services to name a few. You will gain exposure to both audit (60%) and accounts preparation (40%) and will work alongside qualified Seniors and Managers on all engagements – there is a significant amount of ‘on the job’ training that will get you up to speed quickly. The role is client facing so the right candidate will be smart, presentable and articulate. If you are a graduate you must have a 2:1 or above in an accounting/mathematics related degree or some work experience/placement experience in an accountancy practice. If you are a Semi Senior you will ideally have some experience in an accountancy practice of any size. Other useful attributes are motivation and the ability to communicate at a high level with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority. Study support is offered. AAT qualified candidates are desirable, as are candidates that have already started ACA/ACCA.
