Commercial Finance Manager

A global outsourcing company requires a commercial bid finance manager. Working within the bid team you will report to the Commercial Director and Finance Director. You will have client interaction and must be able to work to tight deadlines.

As Bid Finance manager you will be responsible for all finance and commercial aspects for a portfolio of new business contracts across the Greater London area. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be working on some of the largest Contracts and Accounts.

• You will be an integral member of each bid management teams and you also support the team on all commercial aspects of the bid, strengthening the commercial performance, ensuring profitable bid while improving efficiencies to the client.
• You will have client interaction and must be able to work to tight deadlines. You will offer finance technical support to the bid process for large, long term contracts
• Responsible for developing the forecasted financial performance against budgeted targets whilst recording the associated risks and opportunities. You will be part of the commercial function dealing with pricing, negotiations and pricing.
• Advise on contract management on contractual implications, liabilities and appropriate courses of action, including identifying contract variation / change and implementation of change control processes. You must have the ability to interpret and present clear and insightful financial information to all stakeholders, so that key business drivers are understood and delivered.
• A qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience. Ability to communicate with non finance manager and clients at a senior is crucial. You must be personally motivated and enthusiastic to make a positive difference.
