Job description

Our client is a leading name in the Media sector. It currently has an interesting opening for a Billings Manager. This is a visible role and an integral part of a growing and lively finance function. Managing a team of 3, and liaising extensively with both finance, television and digital media senior management, you will ensure all sales invoices are issued accurately and on time, control the interaction between the Billing System and Accounting Package (SAP) to ensure correct cut off and interface, reconcile the two systems, calculate the impact of exchange rate movements across different business lines to ensure accurate variance analysis and sales commission calculations can be done, and work with the Credit Manager to ensure the collections process runs smoothly. In addition, you will ensure the business is provided with accurate month-end billings reports and develop reporting on areas such as contract renewals and CRM, and work with the Financial Controller to improve processes. This is a busy role requiring an outgoing and confident individual who is a responsibility-owner and is comfortable liaising at senior level. You must have previously managed a billing function, be familiar with SAP software and be process-oriented. Our client offers a superb working environment.
