Job description
An international organisation specialising in Risk Management is seeking a Bookkeeper, full-time to work on a temporary to possibly permanent contract in Bournemouth, Dorset is seeking a Bookkeeper for a busy and varied role. Duties include: raising sales invoices; processing of purchase invoices and credit notes, Sage line 50 data entry and maintenance; processing remittances to suppliers; processing payments by BACS and cheque; following up purchase ledger queries; recording payments received in GBP, USD, EUR; month end reports and procedures for sales and purchase ledger; posting of sales ledger receipts; bank reconciliations; monthly payroll calculations including year end payroll and P11d's; monthly and weekly management and trading sales reports; quarterly VAT returns. Essential requirements: exceptional level of attention to detail; good organisational skills; excellent IT skills, including strong Excel skills; ability to follow procedures in a timely and accurate manner; working towards strict deadlines.
