Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a new found growing organisation. You will be based in a central office but will be expected to travel to other offices within Hertfordshire from time to time when business requires. This is an excellent chance for someone to be instrumental in the set up of the accounting function and begin to put processes and procedures into place. Key responsibilities of the Bookkeeper job will include: full responsibility for the Accounting function; begin to put together spreadsheets & reports to monitor cash flow etc; highlight any areas of improvement around finance; ad hoc duties as necessary. The ideal Bookkeeper will possess the following attributes/skills: proven experience of managing a small company finance department; AAT would be desirable; strong Excel and knowledge of accounting software; articulate and well presented; knowledge of Solicitor accounting procedures would be a distinct advantage.
