Job description
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a growing Technology business based in Trafford Park for an experienced Business Analyst to join a team initially on a fixed term contract of 9 months. There is a strong possibility that the role could become permanent, although the post will initially be offered on an interim basis. The role will include plenty of exposure to sales and marketing so ideally you will have come from a similarly commercial background. In this position, you will be using Cognos on a day-to-day basis so any previous exposure to this system would be extremely advantageous. You will need to have a strong working knowledge of Excel, ideally with practical working experience around v-look ups, pivot tables and macros. Key duties of the role will include the following: modelling key business initiatives; tracking performance vs targets; opportunity/risk analysis; reporting on key performance metrics. If you feel you have the relevant skill-set for this position and you are available on short notice and looking for a new challenge within a growing commercially focused organisation, then apply now to be considered.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
