Job description
Responsibilities: provide financial planning, analysis, business support and strategic information, commercial and decision support to CFO; report to the CFO on all business finance, planning and analysis issues; ensure the function provides timely and accurate business analysis and decision support information to the business; work with the business units in international markets to drive improved profitability across all areas – pricing, products, selling channels etc; contribute towards strategic direction of business in a constructive way through business insight and evaluation; support transformation and change processes and drive consistency of business analysis and information flows across the group; devise and implement new evaluation tools and techniques; build and maintain a 5 year plan model, including balance sheet and cash flow models, that will enable the group to take strategic decisions; develop KPIs for performance management across the group; provide support in evaluating acquisition targets qualifications; qualified Accountant or MBA; experience; strong commercial background gained in a progressive results orientated high calibre organisation; track record as self-starter, process improvement, business focused, and initiating and helping driving change; retail or FMCG sector experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
