Job description

Our highly prestigious Insurance client based in London requires a Business Analyst (Solvency II) for a 6-month contract. You will be required to work with the Technical Leads, other work streams and Actuarial/Finance staff to: understand the detail of the current operational processes including; data requirements within each process; tools/systems/methods employed; common issues and workarounds; assess and recommend improvements to the current state and identify, map and recommend process improvements in order to produce the required output; documenting detailed process and data flows; draft data definition documentation and draft control documentation. You will construct, interpret and execute test plans, deliver new processes to BAU and define roles and responsibilities of each process owner. It is essential that you possess experience as a Business Analyst working within an Insurance environment, on several significant projects with a good understanding of financial processes, data and systems, ideally regulatory/compliance/controls based project work (solvency II/Sarbanes-Oxley/Basel II). You must display excellent documentation standards and the ability to take ownership of objectives and manage your own workload.
