Job description

A Business Analyst is required by this global client to join the IT Service Delivery team to support initiatives surrounding the business systems infrastructure. The incumbent will act as the principal channel for the management, definition and analysis of business requirements generated by key stakeholders throughout the business and will consequently develop and maintain a detailed understanding of workflow processes and architecture across key business systems. Main responsibilities include business requirement gathering for IT initiatives, generating functional requirement specifications, analysing and documenting solutions for complex business areas, as well as assisting with system test plans and functional testing. Candidates are required to have an extensive business analysis background with a track record working across a wide range of leading enterprise software technologies (eg CRM & ERP systems). In addition, applicants should have an understanding of the entire software delivery cycle and, as such, have experience managing stakeholder relationships. Ideally, candidates will have professional training in a business analysis capacity and be working towards ISEB diploma level (preferable but not essential). Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are crucial to this role, allowing effective interaction between core business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR.
