As a Business Development Executive within the Sales team, you will report to the Sales Director. You will be tasked with proactively seeking new customers and revenue for the company whilst focusing on existing customers too. The candidate will have the following key responsibilities: identify and secure new business and develop relationships: support the Business Development Manager ensuring targets are achieved: ensure good horizontal teamwork between the Sales team and Sales Administrators: develop the marketing of the company and promote the brand and services. You should be able to demonstrate the following: proven experience of working in a customer focused sales environment; numeracy and literacy skills, especially in Microsoft Office; a strong business acumen and commercial awareness; the drive and desire to develop themselves professionally; an ability to initiate & develop relationships, both professionally & with a peer group; strong teamwork skills and successfully achieving a common team goal; an ability to indicate innovative, creative & independent thought.
