Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Senior Accountant who is dynamic and demonstrably ambitious to work within a large multi-national, service focused organisation. A technically competent Financial Accountant with the desire to ensure accurate and timely reporting is delivered. As a key member of the WEMEA team, working closely with and reporting to the Director of Accounting – WEMEA you will be responsible for: the provision of high quality financial reporting to the business; ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the WEMEA Regional Financial Results; to support the Management team in the subsequent analysis and comparison of above financial information; familiar with working in an HFM environment with the ability to construct their own Smartview reports; to support the business finance managers and Shared Service Centre colleagues; to supervise and train Financial Analysts. In an environment of fast-paced change, our client is looking for an individual who seeks responsibility, takes ownership of their role and is keen to create constant improvement in the quality and evolution of the reporting requirements of the business. You will be a qualified Accountant with a record of first time passes and a relevant business or finance degree. Essential experience includes experience in an FP&A environment within a multi-group operation, experience of business/functional P&L ownership and multi-currency reporting.
