Job description
Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for an Interim Compliance and Controls Business Partner for a leading international travel company operating in over 180 countries with operating profits of over £471 million. This post is based out of the group offices in Crawley, West Sussex working within the newly created Group Compliance Function. You will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience of internal controls systems and frameworks, (ideally COSO or SOX). A key focus of this position is to act as an internal advisor and subject matter expert in respect of the COSO framework for the sectors within the group. You will be expected to work closely with the sector COSO champions to understand the sectors business and communicate COSO messaging and group policy and procedures. The role is pivotal in ensuring consistency of approach and adopting best practices across the Group. You will drive control design and implementation around key risks, ensure controls and processes are documented, develop sustainable controls monitoring plans, develop multiple relationships with subsidiary company MD’s, FD’s and finance staff. The ability to speak a second language such as French, German or Spanish would be beneficial however by no means essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the relevant experience to gain exposure to every area of the business. Due to the nature of this being an interim role it is essential that you are available to work on short notice.
