Job description
Our client is a leading Boutique Corporate Finance house and they manage a wide range of transactional work on behalf of marketing services clients. They are looking for an experienced Business Strategist to create a new service offering for their clients in business advisory. This new business advisory service will be responsible for advising owner managed businesses on strategy, acquisitions, alliances, business planning and profit margin optimisation to meet their future vision and objectives. Your role is to lead this team – win and service business and build a first class team. Key responsibilities include: developing analysis frameworks for competitor strategies, market analysis and customer intelligence; providing deep insight into new market place opportunities to support strategy development and the business planning process; generating Senior Management communication and presentations; gathering competitor and market intelligence, leveraging internal and external sources of data; working with research providers to investigate client needs and recommend margin enhancing strategies. The person: strategy background with experience in consultancy; strong interpersonal skills and evidence of ability to absorb and effectively synthesise research; well developed client handling skills combined with demonstrable business development and client acquisition abilities; exposure with the Marketing Services sector; excellent interpersonal, documentation and written communication skills.
