Job description
A well established mid-tier practice is looking for an Audit Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Audit Manager or an experienced Assistant Audit Manager to take over a portfolio of clients ranging from different industries and sectors including charities, academies and FSA regulated clients. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to work on the Essex boarders and can provide an excellent work - life balance. There is also potential for the individual to progress their career on to Senior Manager and build their name as a charity specialist. Key responsibilities: responsible for ensuring clients receive a top quality level of service; monitor the activities of the Audit team to ensure that all work is delivered to a high standard; to manage the portfolio of clients and find quick and viable solutions for them; business development and growing the client portfolio; lead and plan the delivery of audits; sign off all audits within the portfolio. The individual: fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent); experience of managing people as the individual will assist in managing the Audit team on a day-to-day basis as well as reporting in to the Senior Manager; strong audit experience as this role is around 80% audit based; experience using Caseware is preferable; knowledge and experience within charities is essential.
