Role Background
Business Monitor International is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to report to the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will partner with the executive management team to achieve the Company's strategic goals, focusing initially on financial infrastructure and organic growth, and ultimately onto a more strategic role to realise BMI's global expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish best practice accounting department structure.
- Responsible for all financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, purchasing and insurance activities on an international scale.
- Present monthly financial statements, key performance indicators and insights to Board of Directors.
- Work with the Company’s various Heads of Department to ensure optimal financial performance and the formalisation of processes and controls.
- Interface with BMI’s private equity investors.
- Review acquisition targets and lead the financial integration of completed deals.
- Direct financial aspects of a potential bank debt facility including strategic projections, covenant analysis and terms.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (ACA preferred) and educated to degree-level in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar discipline.
- Strong track-record of successful financial experience, including time spent as a Chief Financial Officer.
- Demonstrable ability to handle significant organic and acquisition growth.
- Experience with debt raises and private equity investors.
- International experience including IFRS.
