Job description

Our Cheltenham client is a firmly established accountancy practice regarded in their field as an honest, trustworthy and friendly firm both for clients and employees. Recognition of this comes in their award of Investors in People. Through effective practice development an immediate position for a Client Accountant / Manager has been created. Key responsibilities will include: responsible for their own portfolio of clients; preparation of accounts either from computer based or incomplete records; finalising the accounts up to the review with the practice manager and the client; building up a professional relationship with their clients. The successful candidate will have spent some years in a practice environment and ideally be AAT qualified or ACA or ACCA part qualified but also accountants qualified by experience will definitely be considered. The successful candidate will be offered depending on their experience across a salary range of £20,000 to £24,000. The firm will also offer a study package if relevant, a reward bonus scheme, flexi-time and over-time when required. Also on offer is free parking and a friendly, established accounts team around you with a relaxed atmosphere.
