Job description

The Permanent Division of Robert Half Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting a Commercial Accountant for our client based in the Daventry. We are looking for a Commercial Accountant to join a developing business based with in the Northamptonshire. As the Commercial Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager working with the site Logistics and Planning team to match costs and activity and seek opportunities to reduce waste, increase efficiency and optimise use of raw material and capacity. Duties: analysing labour costs including cost of shift patterns, overtime, temporary labour and variance against standards; to assist in the publication of the weekly Management Accounts with accompanying financial and operational commentary presented to Management. The successful candidate will need to be a qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACMA) with a commercial focus and must be able to demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen. Salary & benefits: the salary will be paying £35,000 per annum with company benefit package.
