Job description
My client based in Yorkshire is an instantly recognisable brand named retailer with a reputation for customer service and product excellence. As part of the evolution of the Commercial Finance team my client is wishing to recruit a high calibre Commercial Development Management role. Reporting to the Retail MD your brief will be to provide financial and commercial support to all areas of retail sales by way of providing in-depth analysis of sales and margins across a wide product portfolio. This is a highly visible role where you will interact with all areas of supply chain, logistics, distribution and the wider sales and marketing community. You will have significant involvement in the Sales Budget/Forecasting model as well as being instrumental in long-term strategic planning (3 and 5 year forecast). You will drive functional analysis constantly challenging the business, looking at where improvements can be made in this rapidly changing and complex environment. You will be highly numerate possessing PQE (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) preferably in a retail environment. You will demonstrate your commercial and business acumen and have the ability to constantly challenge at all levels.
