Job description
A European Manufacturing company is looking to recruit a permanent Commercial Accountant for a new position as a result of company expansion. Based in Wales, they have several European sites although this position will be involved in the full manufacturing processes of the UK entity. The client is looking for candidates who are very commercially aware and who will be able to take responsibility for all aspects of the manufacturing processes. This will be an ideal opportunity for qualified practice candidates who are looking for their move into industry or possibly for commercial candidates who are looking for the next step in their careers. The ideal candidate needs to be/have: forward-thinking and proactive to stay at the cutting-edge of the manufacturing industry; the ability to implement and refine new processes; commercial and dynamic to cope with the stringent pressures and tight deadlines connected to the business; ability to work in all aspects of manufacturing such as; buying, purchasing, planning, projects, finance, etc; ability to communicate at all levels, to both finance and non-finance personnel. Candidates will need to: be qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent); have good Excel and IT skills; have ability to multi-task, communicate and report to non-financial personnel.
