Job description
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Accountant to join a leading FMCG business. Working within a high profile Commercial Finance team you will support and influence the sales and marketing teams, this is a lead role in performance management to achieve the business objectives, where you will influence to support business plans, provide financial analysis and be a business partner to support business change. Specific responsibilities include sales & gross margin analysis, sales forecasting, management of trade spend targets, development and approval of pre & post launch evaluation of new product development projects, innovation and promotions, provision to the commercial teams on price increase planning, financial modelling and scenario and brand analysis. FMCG experience is a pre requisite, the ability to challenge and influence commercial teams is a must along with tenacity and the gravitas to achieve.
