Job description
Macildowie is recruiting for an outgoing Commercial Accountant to join a fantastic Manufacturing company in Staffordshire that are restructuring their department. The successful candidate will be a professional, astute character who can challenge the Sales and Operations department to improve processes and develop integration. The company has clear progression for the successful individual and will support/develop them with study support if necessary. Responsibilities include: weekly sales and margin analysis; monthly profitability analysis; review of Commercial overheads vs budget - identifying reasons for variances and challenging budget holder where necessary; maintain sales business intelligence system (eg, upload forecasts, budget etc) and support with continuous improvement of it, where appropriate; support FP&A Manager with preparation of the commercial budget and forecast; Business Partner the Commercial team to drive performance. Our client is looking for an ambitious part or qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with Excel skills to pivot tables & v look ups. If you feel this is the position for you please apply with a CV.
