Job description
My client, a FTSE listed business, has an outstanding opportunity for a commercially focused Qualified Accountant to assist the Head of Marketing Communications in delivering robust financial support to campaign planning. Key Responsibilities: provide robust financial insight on the performance of marketing activities; provide ad-hoc analysis for other strategic developments; work closely with the Marketing Planning Manager to deliver scoping and briefings for all campaigns; facilitate understanding of the Marketing plan and financials within Trading/Finance functions, to ensure corporate budgets and forecasts are consistent for income and costs; develop analysis and understanding of ROI’s to ensure they can maximise the sales performance of marketing spend; manage a part-qualified analyst. Ideal experience: qualified Accountant; previous experience in a commercial environment within a leading business; highly systems literate, with Advanced Excel modelling skills; effective communicator with experience working cross-functionally and at a senior level.
