Job description
Commercial Analyst is needed for our client a reputable & recognisable FMCG business in Manchester. This role will require a self-motivated Commercial Accountant who possesses a proactive outlook on their work in this hugely commercial role. This is a key post responsible for the development of commercial financial & management information, understanding key drivers and influencing senior management regarding the direction of the business. Duties are: commentary & analysis of business performance, successfully building strong relationships across all relevant functions/markets to enable involvement within all appropriate business issues and maximise contribution to the decision-making process; evaluation of potential commercial projects, and other ad hoc projects required by business Managers. The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA and have a strong academic background coupled with highly analytical with demonstrable commercial skills. Can demonstrate business acumen and ability to gain knowledge across breadth of Business functions. Demonstrates awareness of the varying European cultures; preferably gained through working with overseas business units; language skills are advantageous. Excellent presentation skills, comfortable dealing at senior management level and developed influencing skills.
