Job description
As one of the largest oil and gas producers globally and the world’s leading exporter of LNG Qatar Petroleum’s (QPs) continued success relies heavily on its ability to analyse and react quickly to market forces. Duties will include the accurate preparation and analysis of LNG sales projections, pricing scenarios, supply and demand forecasts, new and key trends within the global LNG market. Required experience and expertise: relevant experience in the oil and gas industry as a Commercial Analyst or economist; advanced economic or financial modelling skills (Excel, VBA) required to construct models to evaluate new market opportunities; cost/pricing variances, product destination analysis and volumes. BSc degree in economics, business, finance, mathematics or engineering preferably with higher academic or professional qualifications such as PhD, MS, MBA, CFA. Strong influencing skills coupled with an ability to communicate complex analysis with clarity to management. Package/lifestyle working in Qatar offers a secure, family-oriented.
