Job description
Our client is a leading brand within their sector. The culture is fast-paced and commercially focused with high expectations of individuals within the organisation, furthermore can boast state of the art working environment. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Controller. Duties will include but not exclusive to the following: generate month end results, review of consolidation of monthly and annual accounts on IAS and submit, responsible for budgeting and forecasting for area of the business, preparation of UK GAAP annual statutory accounts, key point of contact for Auditors, coordinating the year end in both IFRS and UK GAAP, support and influence Business Heads alongside the FD regarding long-term strategic objectives, ad hoc projects being the Finance lead supporting operational non-finance senior personnel, and line management for a medium sized team of direct reports. Candidate specification: qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent technically gifted Accountant; exposure to managing a large/medium sized team; ability to work in a demanding challenging environment; previous exposure to IT implementing or being part of an implementation project for accounting/reporting software (advantageous and not a prerequisite).
