Job description
Sheridan Maine is recruiting on behalf of a dynamic business based in Basingstoke. Working in Commercial finance the team is pivotal to the performance management and ongoing development of the business. The department is responsible for driving improved profitability through analysis of contracts and delivering robust investment appraisals. We are seeking qualified Accountants ACA/CIMA/ACCA with excellent Excel skills. Ideally you will also be degree educated. Candidates will need to demonstrate an analytical and commercial mindset, the ability to work on their own initiative and the ability to engage with senior sales based staff. Specifically the role will involve; ongoing development of business contract profitability model; partner national accounts and regional sales teams with contract analysis to drive profitability; develop robust budgeting and forecasting for various contracts; support investment decision-making; undertake ad hoc analysis to aid decision-making.
