Job description
My client is a large Retail/Distribution supplier based in Warwickshire. Due to new contract wins they are now looking to recruit a new team to support the financial requirements of this client. This role will report to the FC, however will be primarily responsible to the General Manager for this particular contract. This role is autonomous and both internally operational facing and externally client facing. You will be responsible for providing all of the weekly, monthly and yearly financial information, insuring controls are in place and budgets are adhered too. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the preparation of these budgets, as well as forecasting on a quarterly basis and monthly cash flow forecasting. You will regularly attend senior management meetings and also work closely with the client and will be required to travel to there site for a weekly review meeting. That’s why I need a confident, qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Who has the ability to converse with parties at all levels. You will need to be self-motivated, organised and proactive in your approach with a drive to succeed. You will not be afraid to challenge if/when required too and have a good technical accounting background with exposure to both management and financial accounts. Suitable candidates will have had a large company fast-paced exposure we good all-round accounting ability. You will have had experience working closely with operations and have a gravitas that will allow you to work closely with the client and understand there requirements.
