Job description
My client with HQ in Leeds and operations across the UK is an instantly recognisable brand named FMCG business. As part of the ongoing evolution of the Finance function the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre Commercial Accountant. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will take responsibility for providing finance support to the wider sales and marketing community specifically around costings for existing/new potential business, product profitability as well as European wide marketing and promotional projects. You will further be heavily involved in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts specific to existing big budget contracts, secured with brand named retail outlets. Interfacing constantly with the business you will be qualified CIMA/ACA or ACCA, possess a high level of commercial and business acumen and have a demonstrable track record of working in an FMCG environment or at the very least have supported a business through strategic change and adding value.
