Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for an iconic market leading Retail brand in a true business partnering Commercial Finance Analyst role. This is a high profile Commercial Finance Analyst role supporting and influencing the Trading function. Delivering consolidated sales and margin information for budgets and forecasts, and providing insightful analysis of the key margin growth drivers. Managing the delivery of KPI information and the weekly trading pack submitted to the board, you will be required heavily influence the key decision-making process. Key requirements: qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with analytical experience working in a commercial environment (preferably retail); ability to demonstrate broad commercial thinking, together with a track record of successfully supporting and challenging non-finance colleagues at a senior level; a creative thinker, continually striving to improve processes and offer up value-adding insight, both qualitative and quantitative; highly systems literate with advanced Excel modelling skills.
