Job description
Our client is a large & successful company. It requires a part-qualified Financial Analyst for this challenging and interesting role. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager of a large division, you will be responsible for forecasting, evaluating promotions, detailed variance analysis (sales volume, mix, price, standard cost, etc) and you will work closely with Commercial Managers to really understand business drivers and enable you to contribute to decision-making. This is a complex business and this role requires the following key skills: strong analytical and numeracy skills, including the ability to present and manipulate financial data well using Excel; the interpersonal ability to deal with Sales, Marketing and Production staff and develop strong business relationships; commercial instincts and the confidence to communicate concerns and/or ideas. You will be a PQ CIMA or ACCA studier and will have worked within a larger organisation in an analytical role. Certainly you will have some experience of business planning and variance analysis. This role is challenging, hence it will begin on an interim basis, but for the right candidate it will become permanent.
