Job description
Our client, a leading International Bank in the city has an immediate requirement for an experienced Commercial Finance Director to head up their Integration and change operations. Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director and other Board members, the role is very varied and involves developing strategy and implementing strategic change. This will include coordinating three business critical programmes to include, Sarbanes-Oxley, an integration of a new finance system and working on developing new target operating models. You will also lead detailed design activity, coordinate challenge sessions and chair project steering groups. You will be expected to get involved in a substantial amount of Stakeholder relation activity as well reporting and offering insight on the current performance and identified business trends. The Ideal candidate must be a proven Commercial Finance Director with a previous track record in a similar role. You will be dynamic, highly influential and will possess high level strategic and commercial acumen. You will accustomed to building key relationships across the business and your communication skills will be excellent in all mediums. Experience in Project and Change management as well as coordinating and running large complex projects is a must. The role is initially an eight month contract so requires potential candidates to be immediately available.
