Job description

Martin Ward Anderson's client is a large FTSE 100 business with a global presence and with a site in Aberdeen. Due to restructuring with in the business there is now an opportunity for strong Commercial Finance Managers to join the business to help realise the ambitious vision that is now in place. Key responsibilities: creating a Business team for real operational and strategic business decision-making; delivering on our planned business performance management; creation of world-class planning, risk and controls; critical analysis of investments and business development to deliver on our growth plan; creating a financial Centre of Excellence within the broader group. Individual should be/have: an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) a must; career track record in an External Audit firm (ACA) or track record from within a complex commercial business (ACCA or CIMA); fast track finance career across multiple functions within finance (experience of controllership, M&A, planning, investments, audit, financial control and business finance); able to demonstrate an abundance of business drive, career ambition and a focus to deliver results above and beyond the call of your day-to-day position; added real value to the business (commerce or audit); experience at influencing and engaging diversely spread management teams, proven engagement of Operational and Commercial Executive Leaders.
