Job description
This growing Leisure and Retail business based in the South Birmingham area is actively seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join and lead a team of Commercial Accountants. The role will demand high levels of stakeholder engagement and will partner with the Senior Management team with a focus on critical business decisions. Key responsibilities will include: supporting and influencing the Board and Senior Management team in strategic decisions and key upcoming projects; developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; timely provision of high quality commercial analysis and support to the business through the commercial decision-making process; being the main point of contact with Operational teams for any finance or business related matters. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high levels of commercial acumen and the ability to develop significant relationships across the Senior Management team. Other key attributes required will include: the ability to demonstrate a first class track record in strategic development, commercial analysis and financial control; ability to manage teams and to deliver first class financial information; significant exposure to financial systems with practical knowledge of BI tools and other reporting systems; a demonstrable track record of analysis and recommendations for board level business management; first class interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
