About the client: our retained client employs in excess of 550 people involved in a variety of Hi-tech defence work. In the last 4 years they have increased their orders intake ten fold, winning over £250m in 2010. Because of our continued success and the recent award of significant contracts, the company is continuing in an exciting period of growth. Currently, we are seeking an experienced, high-calibre Business Management Finance Lead to join our team. About the role: managing and directing a business operations organisation supporting program/product areas; you will be responsible for managing a team of business finance, planning, and contracts professional staff ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analyses, financial estimating, configuration management and proposal support. Requirements: with a working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) you will have experience in development, production and service contract including various contract types along with the ability to review and present proposal data to Executive Planning Panel (EPP) – includes business Case, position to Win, terms and conditions, profitability analysis and competitive analysis. Additionally, you will have the ability to communicate complex issues to Programme management and internal management with recommendations.
