Job description
A market leading FMCG client is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to support an overseas region with all sales and marketing activity acting as a ‘Finance Business Partner’ to ensure that all projects including pricing and sales related activity reach full profitability whilst minimising risk. There will be ongoing analysis around market trends, promotional activity and general support to the business units whilst providing quality and consistent reporting back to head office. You will be a highly ambitious individual with the ability to gain the buy-in required to break down barriers across all levels. The winning applicant is likely to have sound analytical experience within a market leading retail or FMCG business and some exposure to commercial/decision support activity. Strong academics required including a top level degree and first time passes in CIMA or ACA. This role will involve creating procedures and processes to insure all future business decisions are sound and therefore evidence of identifying weaknesses and opportunities and then applying. It is essential that you can demonstrate excellent career momentum and have advanced skills in Excel including the production of financial models. Any exposure to systems such as Cognos, Oracle or MFG pro would be desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to join a meritocratic employee offering long-term progression.
