Job description

Following an aggressive period of investment my private equity client are currently looking to strengthen the Finance function of one of there recently acquired assets with the addition of a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting directly in to the FD, this is a highly strategic and commercial role that will allow the incumbent to work autonomously and with the freedom and trust to drive the business forward. You will influence decisions for the benefit of the business, constructively challenge proposals and adopt an innovative approach with a significant emphasis on being proactive, specifically negotiating with the business partners, suppliers and customers, in order to deliver the best results for the business. As part of a Senior Project team you will provide financial analysis, interpretation, advice and innovative solutions to enable revenue growth and profitable business to be won. You will also provide management accounting support for the division. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to deal adeptly with senior management. You will be proactive and a self-starter who can sustain motivation, team player who will work closely with other areas within finance and operations.
