Job description
A fantastic opportunity has an arisen in a leading international high street Fashion brand for a commercial Finance Manager. The extremely commercial position is a 9 month maternity cover. Responsible for two Analysts you will report straight into the FP&A Director and aid him with the annual budget and forecasting process. The role also involves a lot of business partnering with the marketing team and advising the board on business decisions. What will it involve: deliver timely and accurate daily and weekly reporting to senior executive team; deliver timely and accurate monthly sales, margin and inventory forecasts submitted internally and to US Finance; to ensure the monthly forecast and accounts reflect the latest information; to work with the FP&A Director to develop the annual budget; to review performance by country having a view of risks and opportunities by market and supporting commercial finance by producing a view of sales and margin by country; to independently investigate business issues and highlight findings to senior management through timely, accurate and insightful reporting; two direct reports - the Company Planning Analyst and merchandise Financial Analyst. What do I need: post qualified experience; retail experience is required; Hyperion Essbase experience is an advantage.
