Job description
An innovative new E-commerce Retailer based in Central London has a newly created opportunity for a qualified Accountant (ACA CIMA ACCA) to join in the guise of a Commercial Finance Manager in its head office function. The business is going through sustained expansion and with triple digit growth in 2011 and double digit comfortably forecasted for 2012 this new role focuses firmly on providing the commercial analytical support needed for the CFO and CEO. As part of a small but rapidly growing team the Commercial Finance Manager will work closely with the buyers, merchandisers, marketers and ops staff. The role will be hands-on day-to-day but again owing to the size of the team will have genuine exposure to all key decisions. Core duties will include analysis of budget/forecast/ previous year including providing commentary there on. Retail experience is a prerequisite owing to the need for the successful applicant to hit the ground running. The ability to present to, challenge and even influence more senior management will set the successful candidate apart.
