Job description
My client is an entrepreneurial, fast growth SME Online Retail business. As part of their continuing expansion strategy they seek to appoint a commercially driven finance professional to act as the commercial link leading a small team in an extremely fast-paced environment. As Commercial Finance Manager you will manage a small team supporting all commercial decision-making processes, influencing behaviour to improve business performance and financial controls. Project work includes evaluating new business opportunities and contributing to the formation of strategy. Your team will be responsible for the delivery of the operating plan and influencing the setting and delivery of realistic targets in the subsequent forecasting processes. You will ideally be a qualified Accountant who understands the key sales, margin and retail drivers and proactively undertakes analysis to support driving profitable sales and controlling costs with a real desire to make a difference and execute strategy. Strong academic profile and track record of achievement desired. This is a crucial position within this meritocratic and dynamic business with high internal visibility and progression and as such you can expect to be well rewarded.
