Job description
My client is a dynamic major FTSE listed retailer, whose corporate head office is based in Milton Keynes. Due to continued growth and internal promotions, they are now looking to recruit several Commercial Finance Managers. These are high profile commercial finance roles supporting and influencing Business Directors in making key commercial decisions. You will manage a small team of qualified Analysts and take responsibility for providing full analytical support for your business area. You will: support the development, implementation and monitoring the strategic initiatives required to deliver the sales and margin targets of the business; provide tactical decision support identifying financial risks; lead the budget process, weekly reporting and period reviews. The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant experience in the key areas outlined above. Being in a role, where you will have to demonstrate credibility with non-finance individuals, your interpersonal skills will be as critical as your technical ability. Future opportunities can range from roles within group functions, central finance and potential moves outside of finance within commercial divisions (space planning, strategic development/M&A, supply chain, operations, special projects).
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
