Purpose of the Role
Support Channel Sales Directors in the delivery of all business channel profitability targets within an effective control environment. Build effective business cases for sales growth strategies within the existing store/web portfolio or on new acquisitions.
Duties
- Reporting to the FD responsible for developing and leading first class budgeting and forecasting processes.
- All aspects of FP&A.
- Provide the highest calibre of management and financial information.
- Delivery of annual targets and input to longer range planning.
- Assist the Management team in developing the commercial decision-making process through active involvement in building business cases, budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting.
- Responsibility for managing relationship with Internal and External Partners.
- Delivery of business channel profit targets.
- Presentation of monthly analysis of performance to the Board of Directors.
- Extensive planning.
The Candidate
- Qualified Accountant with PQE (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- You must come from an e-commerce or retail background.
- Experience of interfacing with business management at the highest levels.
- A self-confident individual, willing to take responsibility and make decisions.
- A team player with absolute integrity and strong interpersonal skills, comfortable operating at the most senior levels both within and outside the Company.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis with demonstrable experience of direct report management; driving business decisions and being a Business Partner.
