The business is highly profitable & is in the midst of a sustained period of growth which continues unabated in spite of the economic climate. The role is fascinating, broad & high profile with a clear remit to proactively add value to the financial performance of this renowned business. You’ve finance responsibility on a high level Performance Improvement team, comprising a number of main Board Directors & non-finance Operations Managers. You’ll provide & review detailed commercial analysis & evaluation of a variety of profit centres across the business, identifying underperformance & assessing where & how performance can be improved both operationally & financially. Other aspects of the role include preparation & review of capital expenditure appraisals, pre & post investment appraisal, competitor analysis & reporting, budgeting & re-forecasting for key profit centres as well as monitoring results from price & promotion trials. This is a fantastic role for someone with a track record of a Analyst role looking for career development. You’ll be a confident, analytical, commercially focused Accountant with strong communication & presentation skills.
