Job description
A commercially astute Commercial Finance Manager is required for our £100m turnover service sector client in the Birmingham area. Reporting to the FD and working pretty much stand-alone you will manage all commercial finance issues around pricing, cost reduction, M&A and contract bid and tenders. You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally of graduate calibre and have had experience of working within a large, complex business. You will have previously worked in a commercial finance role whereby you have had to significantly influence The Board and other senior stakeholders. You will have a healthy interest in IT and finance systems and be able to give examples whereby you have improved matters in these specific areas. Our client is a service sector organisation that is closely aligned to a global, blue chip client base. Due to recent growth, the incumbent Commercial Finance Manager has been promoted into a more operational position hence this challenging and rewarding role has come about. Ongoing career progression will be available for the successful candidate. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
