Job description
A Commercial Finance Manager is required for our client within the Financial Services sector. In this highly analytical role, you will manage a small team of qualified and part-qualified Accountants in the delivery of incisive financial planning and analysis. You will have full ownership of all budgeting and forecasting tasks and have direct involvement in pricing issues and more fundamentally, strategy development. A fully qualified Accountant, ideally from a Financial Services or similarly complex organisation, you will be highly numerate with significant exposure to commercially focused finance roles. You will be confident undertaking discussions at board level and be able put your point across in direct yet un-confrontational manner. In this newly created position, you will have significant exposure to the board and other Senior Managers throughout the organisation, as such success in this role will be highly visible and rewarded accordingly. This role offers an opportunity to influence operationally and commercially at the highest level and will provide the successful candidate a stern but hugely rewarding challenge. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
