Job description
This Property and Real Estate giant is seeking a Commercial Financial Controller to join its London region on an interim basis. The role will have a wide range of financial responsibilities including P&L, cash collection, capital spend and key balance sheet accounts. This is an extremely commercial role, with no reporting involved and core responsibilities for reviewing the profitability of the business and working with the business to identify and deliver cost savings. Reporting to the FD and business-partnering with the MD of the business unit, the commercial Controller will prepare the budgets and quarterly forecasts and support the business on pricing decisions for key bids and contracts. The ideal candidate will come from a strong academic background and will, of course, be a qualified Accountant; ideally, but not exclusively, an ACA or equivalent. The Controller will manage a team of three in reviewing processes and categorising the discretionary spend. Ideally, applicants will come from a property background and have demonstrable commercial acumen.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
This position is being advertised by an employment business in the case of temporary positions and an employment agency in the case of permanent positions.
