Job description
Our client, a global technology business, requires a driven, enthusiastic and committed Commercial FC who has the ability to work at the highest level. You will boast excellent analytical skills with solid decision making and problem solving ability. You will be able to demonstrate leadership and will have a proven track record within a commercial environment, combined with excellent academics. Team Management skills are essential. You will be responsible for the provision of timely, relevant and accurate information to facilitate decisions and control. Including: monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and related variance analysis; develop and review of the annual budget and forecasts including financial and non-financial key performance indicators; drive commercial deals and post-investment analysis; performance management of analysts and trainees within your team; improvement of systems and processes; maintenance of corporate governance and financial controls; analysis and identification of risks and opportunities; ad-hoc project work, providing detailed analyses to support decision making. The role requires first class communication skills, plus the confidence to quickly establish personal credibility with senior management. The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Chartered Accountant trained in a Big 4 practice with experience gained outside of practice. You will have a strong interest in Technologies and Communications.
