Job description
A Commercial Financial Controller is required to strengthen the existing Commercial Finance team of one of Nottingham’s leading PLC's. In the role of Financial Controller, you will bolster the commercial finance function, gaining invaluable experience within a market leading FTSE business. Candidates will have a strong academic background, 2:1 degree minimum, and admirable pass records in your professional exams (ACA/ACMA). As Financial Controller, reporting to a Divisional FD, you will provide key decision support to Managing Directors of various revenue streams and lead a team of part-qualified/qualified Accountants in delivering crucial financial & commercial support to the business. You will lead the team in planning & forecasting and will support senior management in making improvements to strategic business planning with a view to maximising revenues. Candidates will be required to demonstrate proven interpersonal & communication skills along with the ability to challenge & influence internal stakeholders.
