Job description
A long established and well known FMCG business is seeking to recruit a Commercial Management Accountant to support sales and marketing. The business is well established in its field and is visible in most well known retailers. The business has benefited from marketing and capital investment and current turnover is approximately £150m. Due to internal restructure they are seeking to recruit a Commercial Management Accountant. The role will support the Sales and Marketing teams. The role will be reporting to the FC however the individual will be expected to drive the role forward and be continually business partnering with non-financial individuals. This is working within a fast based environment and requires individuals to key duties: analyse sales and margins for products and relevant variance analysis; provide support to the sales and marketing teams in contract negotiations with retailers; support marketing in evaluation of investments and expenditures; produce forecasting on a monthly basis; preparation of monthly management accounts; preparation of budgets; improve processes and procedures. Person specification: qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA); previous experience of working within an FMCG, Retail environment; strong systems skills including Excel.
